Diana Matthews Funeral Mass

Diana Matthews, age 47, passed away May 4, 2023. She was the beloved daughter of the late Rene and Bertha (Guerra) Vela born in Dearborn, Michigan on May 16, 1975.

Diana is survived by her loving husband, Steven, daughter, Isabella, and In-Laws, Harold and Georgan Matthews. Also surviving are Diana’s siblings, Bertha (Emilo) Arribas, Rene Vela, Jr., and Jaime (Marie) Vela. Diana will also be greatly missed by her Brother-In-Law, Christopher (Kate) Matthews and Sister’s-In-Law, Jennifer Matthews and Bethany (Dan) Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Monday, May 8, from 2pm to 7pm with a rosary service at 7pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth, Michigan, on Tuesday, May, 9 at 10:30am. Visitation will be from 10am until the start of Mass at 10:30am. Diana will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn, Michigan.
