Msgr. Todd casts a vision for the parish this year starting with a focus on humility.

Sep 1, 2022

In his homily on August 28, 2022, Monsignor Todd reminds the parish family of the need to remain rooted in the lived relationship of our encounter with Jesus so that in every way “he must increase, and I must decrease” (John 3: 30).

This is the heart of our mission, the mission of encounter. He must increase! As disciples we are marked by a call to be the Lord’s humble instruments, bringing Jesus to the world in and through us.

To do this in the year ahead, we will focus as a parish family on:

  • The Eucharistic Revival
  • Cultivating Christian Hospitality
  • Responding in Faith to the Cultural Challenges of our Times
  • Growing in Stewardship for all the Gifts God has Given Us

As a starting point for this renewal, Msgr. Todd encourages everyone to begin praying the Litany of Humility so that the grace of God can increase in us.

Let us keeps our “eyes fixed on Jesus” who is our Savior and font of every grace!
