Marriage

Couples wishing to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage must begin formation at least six months before they plan to marry. Marriage preparation includes an initial meeting with the staff priest or deacon, who coordinates the many aspects of formation; the completion of a Pre-Marital Inventory; the Engaged Encounter retreat weekend; and time spent with a mentoring couple. Meetings are also held with the priest or deacon whom the couple has asked to witness their marriage, the Director and/or Associate Director of Music Ministries, and those whose ministry is to coordinate the rehearsal and prayerful celebration of marriage. Weddings are usually celebrated Friday evenings and Saturday at 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 6:30 PM. Marriage is not celebrated during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
