Anointing of the Sick
Anyone who suffers illness or hurt of mind or body and those who suffer from chronic or terminal illness are encouraged to celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. This sacrament is often approached with fear as many still believe that it is a preparation for death. In actuality, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a prayer for healing of body, mind, and spirit.
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is celebrated in the day chapel on the second weekend of each month, immediately following the 4:00 PM liturgy on Saturday and the 12:00 PM liturgy on Sunday.
Arrangements for those who are homebound, in hospitals, or in care facilities may be made through the parish office.
