Sacristans
Sacristans are charged with caring for the temporal needs of the liturgy. They ensure that the worship space is prepared for each liturgy and attend to the washing of plates and cups after the service. They care for the material things of the liturgy: bread and wine, books, cloths, and candles. Those who minister as sacristans make the assembly feel welcome and expected by their careful preparation for liturgical prayer. A call to the parish office will put interested people in touch with the leadership of the sacristans.
