The Parish Pastoral Council is a ministry of service to the entire community. With reliance on prayer and trust in the Holy Spirit, the council strives to be a witness and sign of the Lord’s loving presence as He enables us to make His work our own.
The Council’s function is to provide leadership and consultation in the creation and execution of the parish’s vision, objectives, and policies. The council applies its understanding of vision, objectives, and policy to ensure the orderly and responsible functioning of its commissions: Worship, Christian Service, Faith Formation, and Stewardship. The council works in a consensus-seeking format, actively striving for clear understanding and appreciation of different points of view, to achieve general agreement in the decision making process.
